This is where you can report on the happenings of the classroom(s). Comment on content, creations, and collaborations--or any other pertinent or not-so-pertinent happenings :)

  1. Hello. Connor here, on the Constitution (should it be capitalized?). The Constitution is… old and I don’t know much about it. It has something to do with our nation, and before I humiliate myself further, I’d just like to say- goodbye.

  2. This is Forrest with a reporter piece,
I totally agree with Connor, I mean those guys were smart and all, but sometimes they can confuse you. I think we should study more on why they made the Constitution. Also, people never teach you who the 39 people are that got together to form the constitution. I mean maybe you learn them for a week but after that you can't even spell them right.
Looking back on M&M lab. I'm sad that it's over and also awkwardly happy; that duck was really starting to creep me out (those of you in the green team you know what I mean).
Excited for inventions; I think people will really come up with some good ideas. Big projects like this are always fun.
Hope you enjoyed my thoughts, thanks for taking taking to read this.
    FORREST OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. The Egg Drop

We've heard the stories. We've seen the older kids do it. Now, it's our turn. The Fifth(Yay!) and Sixth(Yay?) grade students of Miss Coake's classrooms will be making the sort of mess that we've all made in the Kitchen at least once. Except this time, Parachutes, glue, grass (I don't know!), foil, and sponge will be included. TEST ONE: On Thursday, October 7th (the only October birthday in our class, which happens to be mine), we will be dropping our Proto-eggs off our desks. If it works, then you don't really need to edit your eggsaver. If it doesn't...back to the ol' drawing board (No, I never really liked that phrase either). TEST TWO: Next, the dreaded ladder. If you've been lazy on this project, you can kiss your egg goodbye (I personally don't advise this, for sanitary reasons). The ladder will be in the Cafeteria. Don't worry Custodians, laundry machines, and mops! The eggs are all in Plastic bags. And now...(it's a real pity computers don't have automatic drumrolls) THE FINAL TEST: The Fire Engine's Cherry picker. As the egg falls down through the air with stunning velocity, it will seems slow motion to you. You will think: Foil Save Our Noble Eggs! and shut your eyes. Will it survive? Well, I wouldn't bet on your egg surviving.

And there, Ladies and Gentlemen, is the informative yet completely unprofessional report on the Egg Drop by Louis John Alexander Triggs I. (Well, I unless some Viking ancestor of mine was also called Louis John Alexander Triggs, in which case it's Louis John Alexander Triggs II. Unless......)
