Regularly scheduled homework

Starting next week, we will add a new post named: HOMEWORK that will have both what we did in-class in each subject as well as any homework assigned.
  • Vocabulary sheets are due each Wednesday
  • Vocabulary quizzes will be given every other Friday.
  • Writer's notebooks collected weekly
  • Reader's notebooks will be collected regularly to see comprehension and imagery during read aloud
  • Science notebooks are kept current with each entry labeled, dated, and entered into table of contents (notebooks will be checked periodically throughout each unit)

  5. On vocabulary sheet, write a sentence using a word containing the listed stem. Ex. I rode on a SUBMARINE on summer vacation.

    Reading: New comprehension strategy: Making summaries. Read 20 min. (Points for extra time).
    Social Studies: Venn Diagram, Mini-book. For homework, finish those if neccesary.
    Science: "Saving Fred," and problem solving. For homework, think about M@Ms.
